Di-adaad

(di-adAd)

The Syan language does not have four cardinal directions, instead there are only two main directions: di-adaad (north) and di-laka (south). These were traditionally defined using the mouth of the Gok-mom Di-o'kaara (cave of gods), with north facing outside of the cave and south facing into the cave.
